I’ve professed my love for Fleet Ilya‘s incredible leather products before as part of my Coco deMer ogling (such as Coco’s Ilya Fleet Leather harness and the Ilya Fleet Leather Cane), yet I’d never really cruised their website. It’s well worth it – at least, it is now. They’ve put some very tasty photos by Rankin in their Restraint category, and one very provocative animated gif.

Not to digress from Fleet Ilya – their very racy blog is where I made the fun discovery that they’ve been providing kinky leather accessories for fashion shoots and celebs. Notably, to me anyway, is their contribution to Rihanna’s S&M video:
I find it fascinating when the lines between kink, sex accessories and pop culture intersect. I wish there was a way to pin down the moment when pop culture icons take that step and act on the decision to go off the path, especially when I find out they’ve picked up indie goods such as these. I’ll bet those stories would be very interesting ones.
Interesting that Britney Spears did remix of S & M with Rihanna. Remember when Britney cut off all her hair? Maybe there was sumthin’ else goin’ on there at the time. Rihanna says S & M is about her and the Media, but I’m sayin’ no way. This seems like about the third song/video touching on fetishes. Yeah, interesting …… There may be a Britney/Rihanna video of S & M!
