unsettling, yet well paired

The image on the left is by Erwin Olaf; the image on the right is by Torsten Solin (via MeFi, seen around). You’ll find more of both at each site — I just had to put them together.

Violet Blue

The London Times named Violet Blue "One of the 40 bloggers who really count" and Self Magazine named her self-made, self-run blog TinyNibbles one of the “Best Sex Resources for Women.” Blue is an autodidact. and mainstream pundit on sex and technology, porn for women, privacy and bleeding-edge tech culture. She is a blogger and journalist for ZDNet, c|net, CBS News; and educator, speaker, crisis counselor, volunteer NGO trainer, and the author and editor of over 40 award-winning books.

I was not familiar with Olaf’s work, and I just finished reviewing his site.

I strongly recommend to everyone the “Mature” section of his photography gallery. It’s a very strong argument that not every sex symbol has to be in the 18-21 age bracket. These pictures show otherwise.

Thanks for the heads up!

The Olaf image is an interesting departure from his earlier work; I heard him give a talk at SECCA in Winston-Salem back in the fall, and he couldn’t really explain the face distortions.
Thanks for the side-by-side!
