have you been keeping up on your Tasty Flesh?

by Violet Blue on March 12, 2009

It seems that my favorite serialized webcomic Tasty Flesh has been having some major plot developments — every zombie outbreak has a great backstory. This one’s not to be missed… Here are a few cherry-picked highlights; there’s been much more, both before and after these panels came out. Start here. Or after the outbreak in the strip club, here.

Violet Blue

The London Times named Violet Blue "One of the 40 bloggers who really count" and Self Magazine named TinyNibbles one of the “Best Sex Resources for Women.” Blue is an autodidact and pundit on sex and technology, hacking and security, porn for women, privacy and bleeding-edge tech culture. She is a journalist for ZDNet, CBS News, CNET; she's an educator, speaker, crisis counselor, volunteer NGO trainer, and the author and editor of over 40 award-winning books.

As I recall, Neil, you only said that the woman in the comic bears a “striking resemblance” to Miss Blue. …although it’s entirely possible that I was inspired! (O_~) And really, we don’t even get to know her while she’s alive in the comic. So, even if she was Violet before she died, she might be someone completely different after she reanimates. Being dead *changes* a girl!

…except for the “being yummy” part. That’s pretty much stayed intact.

If you go back through the comments for the comic, you’ll see that the creator did respond when I asked about the likeness ;)

Miss Blue’s empire grows.

I confess, I’m sort of confused. Why are you a character in a webcomic.
