Loving Boys Who Love Boys (By The Hour) In DNA Magazine

DNA Magazine AU Marcello and Enrico

This morning I got an email from one of the guys at YVY Magazine that had me doing a double-take for a few reasons; one is that I didn’t know Marcello was a high-paid international male escort, and two is that I was amazed by the story and its images. It seems that Marcello is not only a globe-trotting male escort, but he’s very married – to another insanely gorgeous male escort. How does that work, exactly? Well, in the current issue of DNA Magazine (Australia), they explain exactly how it works and there’s a stunning, extremely tasteful semi-nude shoot with both of them shot by the talented Rick Day (I’m a big fan).

Marcello’s email included their escorting website Marcello and Enrico, and he asked me to blog the story and photos – but I see that over at DNA Magazine the content is for members only. So I’ll show you some of the photos he sent and give you some highlights.

According to the DNA interview, Marcello and Enrico live in London and New York, and have been escorting for 3-4 years. They met on Gaydar – and only Enrico mentioned that Marcello gets jealous sometimes. Interestingly, they both travel the world for clients and Enrico answers one of the questions about their clients saying, “Americans tend to be very clean and sociable, Australians are very friendly and down-to-earth. Arabs don’t care about money and Europeans should care more about their personal hygiene.” Marcello added, “French, Italian and Spanish are the most difficult clients in the world.” (Enrico is Italian and Marcello is Brazilian.) No, they don’t escort for girls. We can look, but no touching.

Upside: I’m now a fan of Australian DNA Magazine. It would make a great app to subscribe to.

Thanks, Marcello!

  1. It’s nice to finally be able to put names with the insanely hot faces and bodies…they were in a delectable locker-room layout by Sandro and Maykson that appeared in DNA’s 2009 sports issue (and may also be in Sandro and Maykson’s photo book ENJOY, haven’t seen it in a store to check), and I was just transfixed by their chemistry. Even though I wish they’d make an exception to their “no women” policy for me, their relationship makes the imagery all the more powerful. Sigh.

  2. OH, my goodness, what gorgeous young men. They made this 67-y-o woman’s eyes widen and heart thump. Please let us know if they make a video together! How hot that would be!

  3. I’m consistently impressed by DNA: not only are its layouts gorgeous (even though the photos technically evade full-on full-frontal nudity, they always manage to be super-hot), the journalism is often excellent. There was a very informative and moving interview with a closeted priest a few issues back, and an excellent history on the evolution of yaoi manga about a year or so ago. The issues tend to appear a few months late on the stands, but I still await them eagerly. Might have to check out the DNA online presence…hmm…
