I’m a closet astrology buff — think what you will. So I’m extremely excited to see a really fantastic horoscope column launch that’s tailored to sex and is the kind of sexual astrology I’ve always wanted to see. All too often it’s “how to get your man” or some other blather, but Sex Magic by Ida Lovelace rocks the fucking house (hopefully literally, for this Virgo). Total awesomeness.

but my all time astrology hero (Jungian astrology) is Liz Greene, but more for her books. talk about bridging myth with the trials of life; great stuff.
but I really dug Ida’s readings on astrological phenom; it can be translated through so many lenses and she’s a legendary Tarot reader here in SF. her March horoscope hit me like an anticipated right hook. nicely done — and it’s about sex without being dumbed down.

not to burst your bubble or anything but “psychic” tarot readings for astrological sun signs is not astrology at all.
there’s a lot of other things going on with someone astrologically besides just whats going on with their sun sign. and a tarot reading just isn’t related, the only thing they have in common is that they are both forms of divination.
but astrology is about the movement of the cosmos and there is nothing about outerspace on her site.
on her site she doesn’t mention reading charts or anything about the actual stars at all. she’s not talking about the conjunctions of the planets, whether mercury is retrograde (it just went direct by the way), or how a certain asteroid’s position affects your north or south node…
astrology is about space. as in outer space. not psychic tarot readings.
