The Sexademic’s Smart and Sexy Condom Tips UPDATE: Video MIA

UPDATE: Well, this sucks: the video has been made private, and I don’t know why. This is without warning, and her Tweet yesterday sharing the video is still up.

I’m really sorry, dear readers – this was such a positive thing to share with you. I would not have directed you to it if I had suspected this would happen. Thanks to commenter SCV for letting me know. /UPDATE

Friend and colleague The Sexademic (Jessi Fischer) was asked to make a quick video demo and she shot the above clip on making condoms sexier and highly pleasurable in one go – she’s like that. It’s also what you get when you see us SFSI trainers in action during classes (which begin next weekend, phew…)

The video is work-safe, but really sexy, which I did not expect. Two cute girls rubbing wet gloves teaching you how to make condoms feel amazing… Um, yeah. To go with this, don’t miss her ultra-fabulous post, Better Sex With Condoms:

The most common complaint whispered to me at parties (especially by guys) is that condoms suck. They feel weird, they decrease sensation, they smell/taste funny. I love how none of them want to fix the problem, only bitch to me. Guess what: you can make sex with condoms feel better.

(…) Now to the Biggest Complaint: sensation. Yes, a condom is a sheath that goes on a penis, a barrier that prevents skin to skin contact. OF COURSE IT FEELS WEIRD. But there are steps that you can take to enhance sensation.

1) Buy a thinner condom. Japan makes the thinnest condoms and the US makes some of the thickest. No, Japanese condoms are not smaller. Want something big and thin? Kimono Maxx. Kimono anything is pretty awesome in general for durable thinness.

2) Buy a condom that fits. If you were to buy shoes in the wrong size, walking would be uncomfortable, no? Measure your junk, purchase accordingly*. I recommend Condomania for discreet condom shopping. (…read more, sexademic.wordpress.com)

  2. SCV: I created this as an audition tape for some producers in NYC and after I sent it they asked me to keep it private while we’re going through the audition process. The video will be public in another week or so. Sorry about that!

  3. On that note, I researched a fair amount of safer sex information as a teen and yet I didn’t find out that, oh, if you’re intact, it works a lot better if you unroll the condom most of the way with your foreskin pulled back, pull it and the condom over it forward over the glans, and then unroll it down the rest of the way, until less than a year ago.

  4. That is one great demo!

Just wanted to give you a tip on a good piece of writing used in sex ed in schools in Sweden. Ten good tips about condoms, and they’re sexpositive and useful ones too! (And it’s not just for teens, many grown ups could learn a thing or two as well.)

It’s published by the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education and this pdf and other useful material such as the Pussypedia and the Dicktionary can be readily downloaded from their website with no charge at all. http://rfsu.webshop.strd.se/
…It’s a Swedish organization but they have been kind enough to publish their stuff in English as well as Swedish.
