  • Women find happy guys significantly less sexually attractive than swaggering or brooding men, according to a new University of British Columbia study that helps to explain the enduring allure of “bad boys” and other iconic gender types. • During the FOX segment, which aired after last week’s Lady Gaga-themed “Born This Way” episode, host Damali Keith kicked off by comparing Glee’s gay themes to “product placement” – you know, the kind that leaves “everyone in the theater thirsty for that particular brand.” Fox affiliate: Is “Glee” turning our kids gay? • (Think there will ever be articles about women like me, female sex bloggers that didn’t let the haters win?) Sex And The Ivy blogger Lena Chen: “when Marie Claire approached me (along with four other women) about a story on my sexual history and number of partners last fall, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to talk about double standards. There was only one glaring problem: It brought me back to a person I tried mightily not to be anymore, and the “fearless” sexual provocateur they were hoping to interview was now terrified what others might think.” I was the Harvard harlot (Salon.com)
  • LOVE THIS: “After experimenting with online dating through OK Cupid for about three months, I can now say I’ve done my best, and now I’m done with it. Plain and simple, I’m out. 1. Sadly that Matt Cutts video strikes me as being a load of happy horseshit.

ErosBlog has been a 5 for more than half a decade. In that time I’ve added thousands and thousands of links, many of them decent quality if not quite the Wall Street Journal. I’ve got a *much* weightier set of inbound links than many many non-adult sites with higher pagerank. And Tiny Nibbles, which has a whole lot more and better inbound links than me, is stuck at the same PR5.

So, I simply don’t believe that there isn’t some sort of “bad neighborhood” or other penalty being applied to sites with adult content.
