[Video] Patrick Suskind’s “Perfume” by CHANEL Nº5

by Violet Blue on December 16, 2010

The creepy/sexy video for CHANEL Nº5 depicting their vision of Patrick Suskind’s (amazing) novel Perfume is not a new video, but my friend Midori just reminded me about it with a link. And for some reason it seems (to me) to be a great holiday accompaniment – White Diamonds holiday commercial revivals be damned.

Violet Blue

The London Times named Violet Blue "One of the 40 bloggers who really count" and Self Magazine named her self-made, self-run blog TinyNibbles one of the “Best Sex Resources for Women.” Blue is an autodidact. and mainstream pundit on sex and technology, porn for women, privacy and bleeding-edge tech culture. She is a blogger and journalist for ZDNet, c|net, CBS News; and educator, speaker, crisis counselor, volunteer NGO trainer, and the author and editor of over 40 award-winning books.

My wife and I actually visited the parfumerie in Grasse where they created the signature scent. We’re not really perfume people, but we both loved the book, so we just had to go.
