Tuesday Nibbles: Muslim Sex Guides, iPhone Users Prefer Anal Teens

Fagette Queer Sex Blogs

* This is a great list: hot, filthy and adds to my prediction that 2011 is the year of queer (porn). Five Hot Queer Sex Blogs & The Lesbian-Revelation Hookup (autostraddle.com, image via)

* This one is getting a lot of press, but they only talked to 58 teens. 58 is currently roughly how many under-18s log onto Scarleteen for sex ed information every two minutes. Teens aren’t logging on for sex ed answers (pagingdrgupta.blogs.cnn.com, so clueless)

* A few bite-sized anecdotes; reminds me that like Hollywood they’re stuck in remake mode: A red carpet recap from the AVN Awards (lasvegasweekly.com)

* Sometimes I love to watch trainwrecks. Charlie Sheen does Vegas with three porn stars; meet Bree Olson (blog.zap2it.com)

* Hugh Hefner takes a huge risk and makes Playboy private, buying back shares. What’s he thinking? Playboy It Again, Hef (online.wsj.com)

* This is interesting: a doc made a sex ed book for Muslims; it sounds tragically necessary but the reaction is not a surprise. Fury over doctor’s book on sex education for Muslims (bbc.co.uk)

* This might surprise you: Percentage of Men (by Country) Who Paid for Sex at Least Once: The Johns Chart (prostitution.procon.org)

* Great news, actually. Gender neutral entry fields, reminds me of Diaspora’s vision: U.S. Passport Applications To Acknowledge Same-Sex Parents (towleroad.com)

* Very subjective, but junk food to entertain the brain; one company claims BlackBerry users prefer MILFs and iHone users go for the anal teens. Indeed! iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry Users Like Different Porn (gearlog.com)

* How can Jacobs be so clueless? It’s the PIGS! Right wing “prophet” Cindy Jacobs says that Mass Bird Deaths Are Because of DADT Repeal (rightwingwatch.org)

  1. The photographer-composition snob in me is being way too critical of the picture (tattooed girls in a canoe), while the rest of me can’t seem to get enough of it.

Every time I come and check in, parts of me quiver when I scroll past it…. er… hesitate before I continue down the page.

  2. The Pakistani doctor writing the sex guide has received threats. Could this be why he waited until he was 81 to write the book, since he’d be more likely to die of natural causes than by someone carrying out a threat?

  3. I’ve always wondered why there’s a gender marker on the passport. What use does that have? Same with ‘Place of Birth’. How is it relevant that you were born in Cincinnati when you’re going through customs?
