Footballers’ wives? Hold the wags, just ‘ballers please

I’ve never been that into sports per se. I’ve grown up with a distant American girl, West Coast appreciation for baseball and basketball. But I’ve always been more into skating, snowboarding, surfing, fighting, motorcycle racing and BMX. And now that I think about it, I’ve never actually been into ogling the players.

However, I do see that football in the rest of the world deserves some certain kind of re-examination. Today you can have your Girls of Umbro and I’m just fine without footballers’ much-adored hot wives and girlfriends (WAGs). I’ve discovered Kickette. We think alike. For example:
