just for couples
These books are in a few other sections as well, but are specifically aimed at coupled sexuality -- and making it red-hot. These are my favorite sex tip and technique books; and while they're primarily all heterosexual, I know my gay, lesbian and trans readers will know how to sift through them to find lots of really useful information. Better orgasms, sexy surprises, new sex techniques and deeper intimacy are all on the menu.
The Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex Positions Kelly
Need ideas? This is the best sex position book I've ever seen; no position is impossible and the sexy color photos are extremely inspiring, indeed. This is also a great way to get ideas for positions that might help him last longer, or give her the stimulation she needs to get "over the edge": these things are individual, so experiment with a good guide.
Tricks... to Please a Man Jay Wiseman
Normally I'd never pay lip service (or any other kind) to a book with such a title, but this book really lives up to its name with wonderful aplomb. The amount of little, bite-sized tidbits in this tome deliver all kinds of hot, nasty and sublime ways to sexually surprise and get off a man, from the flirty to the very intense.
Tricks... to Please a Woman Wiseman
There's no "tricking" involved here, just oodles of awesome tips specifically focused on female anatomy that all sound like fun ways to spend an evening or a weekend. Foreplay, seduction, oral sex, outrageous tips... all the tricks and fun ways to spice up the ordinary are here, and if you have sex with women, it would probably make them very happy if you got this book.
How to Give Her Absolute Pleasure Paget
Lou Paget isn't just a sex advice author, but also a tireless sex educator who is constantly putting herself out there to run workshops and counseling sessions for couples and singles on a variety of sex topics. She took the info she learned form the hundreds of people she's worked with and distilled it onto a couple of excellent books that answer hundreds of common, yet essential questions about sex. In this one, she addresses a male audience, dispensing advice and tips for all kinds of female-specific sexual pelasure.
How to Be a Great Lover Paget
Seeing as how most of her workshops are with hetero couples and straight women looking for tricks and techniques to use on guys, this excellent book comprises a large variety of "woman-to-woman" tips for everything from oral sex to feeling confident about trying something new. Great for nervous beginners who might be curious about somehting but want it in a non-threatening (though extremely useful) package.
Sensuous Magic: A Guide to S/M for Adventurous Couples Califia
This is my highest-recommended book for anyone interested in trying out BDSM, kink or dominance and submission within their relationship; it gives you the psychological motivation and explains the emotional and mental points of view in trying out -- and having a lot of hot fun with -- BDSM. This is the book that really made BDSM "click" for me in the context of a relationship, and also showed me where (and how) to make meaningful limits for myself.
Ultimate Guide to Sexual Fantasy Blue
Yup, it's my book -- and one that I'm extremely proud of. Sexual fantasy is an essential tool for hot sex, and here I explain how to use fantasies to help you achieve orgasm, how to use fantasies together for all kind of fun encounters, how to role-play, asking for a spanking (or anything else you want to ask for sexually), what to do in dominant or submissive sex roles, how to talk dirty, strip and give a lapdance, play sex games (I offer many); I suggest oodles of sexual fantasies and tell you how to make them come true... like my Sweet Life: Erotic Fantasies for Couples, but "hands on". Note the huge chapter on threesomes, multiple partner sex and voyeurism, and another whole chapter devoted to sexual fetishes.
Come Hither by Gloria Brame
This wonderful book is on my most-recommended list for those interested in exploring kink and BDSM, especially if you're new to all of it, or have a lover who is interested and you're not so sure... It's also one the of the few books about exploring kink that addresses issues of resolving faith (like Christianity) and kink-inclined interests within relationships.
Ultimate Guide to Fellatio Blue
It's all here: male anatomy for pleasure (with no area left out), oodles of licks, sucks, tips and techniques; what to do with your hands; what to do with his hands (especially when you don't want them on your head); male genital massage techniques; prostate and anal play during fellatio; incorporating sex toys into your oral sex sessions; what to do when things go wrong; how to sweeten his come; dealing with erectile difficulty; spitting vs. swallowing and how to control where he comes; how to do tricks like put a condom on with your mouth; how to deep throat -- seriously, my gay male friends tell me how much they learned form this book, so you know it's got it goin' on. Plus, it's for everyone from beginner to expert, and never talks down to you. Fully illustrated: translated into French, Spanish, and soon Russian.
Ultimate Guide to Cunnilingus Blue
Susie Bright says, "Violet Blue's cunnilingus book is the best sheer technique manual
I've ever read on going down." Which is a hell of a compliment, but see for yourself; it's got dozens of techniques, tips, recommendations on starting, getting her "over the edge" and what to do after she comes... and much more. Yup, it's full of cool tricks like heat and cold, sex toys to make cunnilingus even more pleasurable; but it's also for the nervous beginner who's not sure how to start, what to expect in terms of taste and smell and how to talk to a reluctant partner -- and why she might not want you to go down on her. Plus, there's a whole chapter just for her, addressing issues about orgasm, stimulation and pleasure, fears about genital appearance, taste and smell and more. Unlike most other books on cunnilingus, it also covers internal and external female anatomy for pleasure, anal play with cunnilingus, and g-spot/female ejaculation with cunnilingus.
Intercourses: An Aphrodisiac Cookbook Hopkins + Lockridge
Now here's a really beautiful sex-themed food book -- lots of sexy photos with food and a variety of recipes to choose from, all using aphrodisiac ingredients. Like Seduction and Spice, it's a great resource of recipes for ideas and excellent for planning out evenings full of sensual feats of all kinds -- especially oral.
Love Potions: Romantic Drinks for Two Buenfeld
Bravo for this little book full of cocktails made with aphrodisiac ingredients; so many times I've wanted to invite someone up for a nightcap and had little more than beer to offer. This book made me want to stock up on a few essentials to make the next nightcap invite quite a bit sexier. It's in my seduction aresenal.
The Multi-Orgasmic Couple Chia + Abrams
A caveat before reading this bestseller: it's written from the perspective of Tantric sex and "sacred sexuality", so many might find the tone a little new agey, which isn't to play down the excellent information to be found here. Multiple orgasms for couples and acheiving them together is the focus and the authors give clear instructions on breathing techniques, sexual positions and much more. Also in French and Portuguese.
Tantric Sexuality: A Beginner's Guide Craze
This was the first book I picked up on Tantric sex that made sense, and I still recommend it as the first (and for some, the only) book to get. It's very basic and not couched in rhetoric, and the book has more technique and hands-on information than explanation (interpretation) of Eastern philosophy -- the reader just gets the facts, ma'am.
The Tao of Sexual Massage Russell + Kolb
Finding a good erotic massage book is tough, even though there are many to choose from: the trick is finding one that knows therapeutic massage, explains clearly how to do it, and how to do a sexually focused massage that can be used to either relax and seduce (foreplay) or seriously impress (and get off) a lover. This book is all that: the new ageiness hinders slightly, but the techniques shine through.
