[Video] Arca – Thievery by Jesse Kanda

by Violet Blue on October 14, 2014

Venezuelan producer Arca, aka Alejandro Ghersi, has posted the video for “Thievery” – made by the incredibly talented Jesse Kanda. The video features Xen, a digitally-rendered, gender-ambiguous character who Ghersi calls a fictional alter ego, dancing in front of the camera. I found Kanda in this post on Beautiful Decay.

‘Thievery’ is taken from Arca’s forthcoming album ‘Xen’ available November 3rd (4th in US) on Mute. There’s a great interview with Arca in the current issue of Fader, where he talks about his debut album, his own sexuality and working with Kanye West.
