Here, several porn stars share how they keep their sex lives healthy and fun — and it turns out that even the less sexually adventurous among us can take a few (candid and uncensored) pointers from these adult entertainers.

First up: I’m celebrating the recent release of my self-published guide to not getting hacked, making safe online profiles, outwitting stalkers and getting revenge porn out of your life – The Smart Girl’s Guide to Privacy ($6.49). I’ve been nonstop about the book, so I want to thank everyone for their support by making Fetish Sex: A Complete Guide free all day today ($0.00, Saturday April 26). Enjoy!

This Kink Your Kindle roundup of new sex ebooks offers the newest in high-quality erotic and pornographic fiction, as well as the best in sex-positive sex ed new releases. I’ve also included a few recent books by me you might have missed.

With the exception of the nonfiction titles, every selection in this post contains explicit sex, ranging from romantic trysts with hardcore sex to character-driven, thoughtful – but very nasty – porn. The stories surprise and intrigue, the characters are realistic and compelling, the sex is believable and ridiculously hot (and graphic), and the authors are quite talented. It’s an impressive selection.

NONFICTION

  • Never Say Never: Tips, Tricks, and Erotic Inspiration for Lovers ($9.99) by Alison Tyler and Barbara Pizio
“Monogamy does not have to equal monotony! Bestselling author Alison Tyler has made it her life’s mission to demonstrate that uninhibited, exciting and highly imaginative sex goes down best with lovers who just happen to be long-term couples, too. Never Say Never is a blissful blend of Tyler’s wisdom, expert advice and scintillating erotic scenarios guaranteed to liven up your bedroom.” The explicit short stories and real ideas in Never Say Never will help you get exactly what you want from your number one hottie.

  • Erotic Exchanges: The World of Elite Prostitution in Eighteenth-Century Paris ($15.37) by Nina Kushner
“Erotic Exchanges reveals the complex world of elite prostitution in eighteenth-century Paris by focusing on the professional mistresses who dominated it. In this demimonde, these dames entretenues exchanged sex, company, and sometimes even love for being “kept.” Most of these women entered the profession unwillingly, either because they were desperate and could find no other means of support or because they were sold by family members to brothels or to particular men. A small but significant percentage of kept women, however, came from a theater subculture that actively supported elite prostitution. Kushner shows that in its business conventions, its moral codes, and even its sexual practices, the demimonde was an integral part of contemporary Parisian culture.”
  • Peep’s Scoop gave my Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot an incredible review ($9.99)
“As a book, The Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot prioritizes pleasure and possibility. It’s not just that the G-Spot is awesome and you should know about it, it’s that exploring the G-Spot has the potential for pleasure and a furthering of self-knowledge. Blue is also attentive to the fact that some folks don’t enjoy G-Spot stimulation, and eases the reader’s mind as to what this “might mean.””
  • Negotiating Sex Work: Unintended Consequences of Policy and Activism ($15.12) edited by Carisa R. Showden and Samantha Majic
“Positions on sex work are primarily divided between those who consider that selling sexual acts is legitimate work and those who consider it a form of exploitation. Organized into three parts, Negotiating Sex Work rejects this either/or framework and offers instead diverse and compelling contributions that aim to reframe these viewpoints. Part I addresses how knowledge about sex work and sex workers is generated. The next section explores how nations and political actors who claim to protect individuals in sex work often further marginalize them. Finally, part III examines sex workers’ own political-organizational efforts to combat laws and policies that deem them deviant, sinful, or total victims.”

FICTION

  • Flying High: Sexy Stories from the Mile High Club ($9.99) edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel
“This compilation of short stories are very sensuous and in just the right bite-sized length. Many are so well-written you get the feeling that they are definitely not pure fantasy & that many these situations must have happened. Sexually explicit encounters keep you guessing as to which one of these stories are real and why is that lavatory saying “occupied” for the longest time? Perhaps, they are joining the mile high club in there? If you are looking for steamy erotica, this book will keep you flying high for some time.”
  • Lost in You ($3.79) by Sommer Marsden
“This was a very good, very hot read. The chemistry between Clover and Dorian is electric and jumps off the page. The sex scenes are hot and very well written (as I expect in one of Sommer Marsden’s books). I loved Dorian, he was fabulous and I have to say if he was pursuing ME I certainly wouldn’t push him away…if you know what I mean.”
  • Out of Control ($4.24) by Teresa Noelle Roberts
“Warning: Contains kinky sex, molten glass, geeky higher mathematics, family secrets, and irresponsible consumption of coffee. If you like your romance steamy with a side of kink this is the book for you. A fun read with engaging characters, a clever narrative voice, and a welcome absence of eyeroll-inducing metaphors that litter so much romance and erotica.”
  • Dominant Wives: Erotic Tales of Marital Femdom, Chastity, Cuckolding, Husband Humiliation and More ($3.99) by Jodi Fowler, Meredith Marshall, Brett Olsen, Charlotte Pope, Thomas S. Roche, N.T. Morley, Xavier Acton, Amber O’Brien, Kendra Simms
“Feast on a baker’s dozen of dominant wives who teach their subby hubbies who’s boss — in the bedroom and beyond. A dominant wife comes home to find her husband ready to submit to oral slavery…but wanting to resist a little bit. A wife brings her chastity-locked husband to a strip club for some adult fun — and brings her hot lesbian girlfriend along for the ride. A wife tarts her husband up in stockings, garters and high heels for a trip to a sex club where succulent humiliation — and anonymous cock — awaits them both. Cuckolding wives on sex binges make their hubbies watch, bound… and maybe even clean up when the sex is over. Within these pages, fantasy females turn marital discord into male slavery, taking exquisite and forbidden pleasure in the process. “

  • The Initiation of Ms. Holly ($3.03) by K.D. Grace
“This story had an exciting plot with some twists and turns, a cast of very colorful characters, some angst, a plethora of amazing and erotic sex and lastly a beautiful love story. Rita and Edward went through all kinds of kinky hell to get where they wanted to be….and I loved being on this journey with them! A great first read for me by K.D. Grace. Can not wait to get my hands on the next book in The Mount series, Fulfilling the Contract.”
  • The Hunt ($2.99) by Heather Cole
“Every year wealthy and mysterious Marcos Andreos opens his estate to an exclusive list of guests and hosts a Hunt. But For Marcos and his A-list friends, it’s not about a fox and hounds. This Hunt involves willing men and women being hunted for their bounty which involves hot steamy sex among other pleasurable acts. Lilly Thomas has attended The Hunt for three years in a row. But this time it’s different. Marcos has marked her as his prey, and he’s determined to capture and keep her any way he can. Lilly doesn’t want to be an easy catch, but one look at the handsome playboy hunter and she decides that being Marcos’ prey for the night might actually be a good thing.”
  • Bisexual Boyfriends: Three-way Stories of Bi Men and the Women who Want Them ($3.69) by Jacqueline Mills, Thomas S. Roche, Erick Hudson and Meredith Marshall
“After a night of drinking and flirting, a couple invites their mutual friend to crash at their place…but not on the couch! A woman’s fantasies of sharing her husband are realized when she gives him to a beautiful rent boy. A limousine driver discovers his newlywed passengers getting busy in back, only to find himself invited to share their honeymoon suite overnight… A queer guy who recently got his first girlfriend finds himself dreaming of a dark lover who can give him and his girlfriend the best of both worlds. The seven stories in Bisexual Boyfriends roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, exploring the explosive intensity of three-way trysts where men join with women — and with each other.”
  • Her Boss, His Client ($1.99) by Tasmin Flowers
“When Dana Lewis starts her new job at a prestigious London advertising agency, she vows to herself that she won’t sleep with her new boss. But that was before she was allocated to work on Jack Brent’s team, writing copy for the most devastatingly handsome man she’d ever met. Nathan Drake is a travel tycoon and he expects the very best from the agency he employs to create his advertising campaigns. Jack puts Dana on the job and Nathan makes it clear he likes what he sees, whisking her away to his country retreat. Before she knows it, Dana is burning the candle at both ends – and her new lovers are complete opposites in the bedroom. Nathan is as calm and controlling as Jack is fiery and tempestuous…”

  • Twisted: Bondage With an Edge ($9.99) edited by Alison Tyler
“Twisted is an anthology of BDSM erotica that offers a story for every kink and every fantasy. Whether you’re into girl on girl, chains, voyeurism, and lord knows what in between, Alison Tyler has included a steamy tale in this collection to scratch your itch. Each author brings a unique set of characters, kink, and voice to make each one arousing, making you want to read more and more. Another plus of this book is that because the stories are only related by theme, bondage, you can stop and start reading with ease. Fans of BDSM erotica, or even erotica in general, will not be left disappointed by this collection.”
  • Best Women’s Erotica 2014 ($10.89) Edited by Violet Blue
“Best Women’s Erotica 2014 delivers risky, romantic, and heart-pounding thrills. Joyful, daring, and authentic, these steamy stories revel in erotic adventure, from the sparks between strangers to the knowing caresses of long-time lovers. These stories are not merely erotic, but filled with strong characters and clever narratives showing how sexual experience is different for everyone. The court documents reveal Wreal’s contention that “Amazon’s continued use of the “Fire TV” moniker has caused, and will continue to cause, serious irreparable harm to Wreal’s established business, necessitating this action.” (FWIW I was first contacted by FyreTV in 2010, they’re really nice guys.)

Terry Richardson is such a special snowflake, and his enablers such pictures of unbridled fuckery, that this topic gets its own section today.

  • It began as we’d expect. Yet another model came forward with yet another story about Creepy Uncle Terry, and his spokesdouche was on it like a mustache ride. “[Emma] Appleton’s tweet — the contents of which a spokeswoman for Richardson immediately dismissed to BuzzFeed as fake — again raises questions about whether leading fashion magazines and brands will continue to work with a photographer who has been accused repeatedly of demanding sex from models. “We have no plans to work with him in the future,” said the communications director for U.S. Vogue, Hildy Kuryk. The model who posted the Sunday’s allegation, Emma Appleton, told BuzzFeed that the message came from Terry Richardson’s Facebook account.” Appleton has since deleted her entire Twitter account.
Terry Richardson Spokeswoman Denies New Allegation (Buzzfeed)
  • Next, Creepy Uncle Terry vaguely denied he pulled out the Pedobear clownsuit on models Emma Appleton, Jamie Peck, Liskula Cohen, Charlotte Waters and Rie Rasmussen – who have each come forward with separate allegations. He defended his artwork and omitted discussion of his behavior saying, “I collaborated with consenting adult women who were fully aware of the nature of the work, and as is typical with any project, everyone signed releases. I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do. I give everyone that I work with enough respect to view them as having ownership of their free will and making their decisions accordingly, and as such, it has been difficult to see myself as a target of revisionist history.”
    Correcting the Rumors (Huffington Post)
  • And then… Creepy Uncle Terry got a fixer. A whole lot of outlets started regurgitating this press release as news, saying that Emma Appleton is now kinda recanting, but also kinda not. Weirder, the PR says: “”Terry Richardson did not reach out to this woman. It was sent from a Facebook page that is fake. Terry has no knowledge of who sent this,” a spokesperson said. “Mr. Richardson has retained online forensic expert Theo Yedinsky to determine the actual origin of the faked posting.”" Right. Add the bizarre “fake Facebook page” claim to the addition of a “foresnics expert” and it’s *almost* the I Got Hacked claim, but not as obvious. But who is this magical forensics expert? If it’s this Mr. Yedinsky, Uncle Terry’s got a slick social media crisis campaign advisor on his team. (But sadly, not a forensics expert.)

  • In new film Fading Gigolo, John Turturro plays Fioravante, a gentle bookstore employee who loses his part-time job when his boss Murray (Woody Allen) is forced to close down. Serendipitously, Murray learns that his dermatologist Dr Parker (Sharon Stone) is looking to arrange a ménage à trois with her friend (Sofia Vergara). Murray suggests that Fioravante is the perfect man for the job. After a little coaxing, Fioravante agrees to let Murray pimp him out.

If you’ll recall, around this time last year, a lawsuit was filed against JPMorgan Chase claiming the bank violated fair lending laws and its policy for refusing to underwrite a loan for ‘moral reasons.’
And now, the bank is apparently hitting the porn industry again as we’ve been EXCLUSIVELY told hundreds of letters went out to those in the adult film industry saying their accounts would be closed on May 11, 2014.”
