Sex News: Ron Jeremy, Walking Dead XXX yellowface, dildo engineer AMA, Vine

  • Porn icon Ron Jeremy has emerged from a second heart surgery procedure on Wednesday and is now resting at Cedars-Sinai hospital, his manager said. On Thursday, TMZ reported that Jeremy would be staying in the hospital for at least the next two weeks as he recovers from surgery related to a heart aneurism.

  • Adult actress Coco Brown is training to be the first porn star in space. The star of Black Panty Chronicles 2 and Big Booty Bomb 2, has paid £64,000 to be part of a private Dutch mission due to blast off in spring 2014. American Coco has already undergone anti-gravity training.

  • Tumblr looks to be trying to avoid the Apple faux-porn-censorship BS that recently harangued the 500px photo app and Twitter’s Vine app. The microblogging company threw up a 17-and-over age warning for its iOS app for all new users and any people updating their app to the 3.2.4 version, which was released today.

  • Jezebel is not pushing pageview-gen-outrage here for a change – points out porn people people being assholes about Asian racism – porn people that you’d think wouldn’t be like their porn predecessors. Tl;dr – Joanna Angel put a white actor in yellowface (not bothering to look for an Asian actor for her Walking Dead porn parody), then says anyone bothered by it that it’s they’re fault they are offended. Joanna, go home. You’re not drunk – this time, you’re wrong.

  • I love CineKink and am saddened to find out it is now sponsored by a company whose business model is mass-DMCA blasts, warfare on torrent sites and profiting off the removal of links – legit or not. Anti-piracy business TakeDown Piracy has announced its gold-level sponsorship of the 10th anniversary edition of the CineKink Film Festival. TakeDown Piracy is listed by Google as one of the top five reporters of digital violations in the world. TakeDown Piracy Announces Gold Sponsorship of CineKink Film Festival (XBIZ)
  • Shit, we get enough anti-gay hate directed at SF every time one of our teams wins a game… This year’s Super Bowl – the final game in the National Football League season – has been overshadowed by a week of scandal over allegations of drug use and shocking anti-gay statements by a star player in the San Francisco 49ers.

  • Kink’s Princess Donna Delore, fresh off working on a few James Franco film projects, answers questions and talks about her recent decision to move to Los angeles to open an LA branch of KInk.com and pursue her interest in mainstream acting and directing.

  • I don’t think this will end well, and could set a precedent. Universal City Studios and Fifty Shades Ltd on Tuesday filed for a preliminary injunction against Smash Pictures to halt the sale and distribution of its parody “This Isn’t Fifty Shades of Grey XXX.”

  • Russia’s Parliament has backed a bill which outlaws the “propaganda of homosexuality among minors” in a move that will restrict fundamental human rights and is in breach of the country’s international obligations to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people from discrimination, Amnesty International said this week.

  • In an unusual turn, Jezebel has a thoughtful, non-histrionic article about porn. My snark aside, check this one out – it’s Jez’s usual heternormative-feminist-slant but the post is an interesting conversation about how we talk to – and react to – our lovers and partners about our porn viewing interests.

  • This sounds like it could be awesome – we’ll know more when their fundraiser begins on February 14. According to its press statement, Flirt Planet is a new social dating videogame that teaches players to socialize and flirt with real world dates. First Planet will launch a crowd-funding campaign through IndieGoGo to celebrate the world’s first social dating game and urge consumers to use the live test version.

  • This judge is evil – finding out further details of the case will quickly show you why I say this, but will be deeply disturbing, so be warned. The controversial trial of two high school football players (self-named ‘rape team’) accused of raping a classmate will remain open to the public and will not be relocated to another town, an Ohio judge ruled on Wednesday. Prosecutors and an attorney representing the accuser had sought a closed trial, arguing that public access to the juvenile trial would subject the accuser to unwanted publicity and make potential witnesses reluctant to testify.

  • Yvonne Zimmerman, a professor of Christian Ethics, argues that the theoretical basis of US government anti-trafficking efforts derives directly from Protestant theology and traditional ideas of what she calls “sexually pure and pious womanhood”. Zimmerman challenges this basis for anti-trafficking efforts, saying that it ends up limiting the freedom of trafficked people, especially women, by conceiving of their “rescue” as them ending up in traditional, heterosexual marriages – or at least refraining from sexual relations outside of marriage.

  • Federal officials broke up a cult suspected of running a sex-slavery ring among its followers on the United States border, the authorities said Tuesday. The Defenders of Christ cult is suspected of recruiting women to have sex with a Spanish man who claimed he was the reincarnation of Christ.

  • Sex workers in New Delhi are unhappy with Justice Verma committee’s recommendations which, according to them, equate human trafficking with sex work and define prostitution as exploitation. In a letter to the President on Saturday, they urged him to reject the ordinance cleared by the Union cabinet on the Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill 2012 as it criminalizes sex work.

  • “By posing as a friend, Kazaryan allegedly tricked these women into stripping for him on camera, capturing more than 3,000 images of these women to blackmail them. Kazaryan was arrested by federal agents on Tuesday; if convicted on all 30 counts, including 15 counts of computer intrusion and 15 counts of aggravated identity theft, Kazaryan could face up to 105 years in federal prison.”

  • James Deen (soon starring opposite Lindsay Lohan in The Canyons) is a foodie video host as well. First We Feast notes that on definitely NSFW website Wood Rocket, Deen has some seven episodes of James Deen Loves Food, a decidedly PG-13 food show with cursing.

  • The ad, which many think is adorable but was submitted by PornHub to run in this year’s Super Bowl, was rejected by CBS and won’t run. Not for any NSFW content, obviously; it’s more that it would be an ad that directed millions and millions of happy football-viewing families to a porn site.

Re: Coco Brown in space. I’m confused and disappointed. The article says she has no plans to fuck, or even get naked, in space. It seems she is going strictly for personal enjoyment on her own dime. I mean sure, her money and she can do what she wants. But we’re sending a porn star into space and she isn’t going to come back with zero gee porn? Tragic! Shocking! Anyway, the thing about both partners drifting away if you tried is BS – use elastic tethers or velcro and boom, problem solved.

Gizmodo lost that PornHub ad video. I am betting Dailymotion will not.
