God bless those scantily clad, raunchy, horn-blowing, flag waving, drum-banging, cross-dressing, stranger grinding, gritty-titty band geeks. I ran into them in their very early days at a camp fundraiser and instantly fell in love with them all. As someone who waved a flag for 8 years and banged one or two drum(mers) I can tell you they had seriously better costumes that we ever did, and brought a level of cool to the marching band world that it will never recover from. There are some images from their shows that I can never erase from my brain.

I only ever got to enjoy EAMB from afar, but was always enthralled by their abandon and spirit. Very cool to hear your story of how they became and all they accomplished.

Very obviously heartfelt. But, like many bands, there comes a time to stop. The people, however, that make up a band are still creative people, so they will go on to other projects. Keep track of them; they’ll still be friends, and a new project may excite you just as much.

Sure, I like the porn and nudity and sex news and commentary. It’s what brought me here. But when you get personal, and share your human side, that’s what keeps me coming back. This isn’t just a porn site, and never was. Getting to read something as heartfelt and touching as this… that’s the bonus!

I was fortunate enough to experience EAMB on a few occasions, and like anyone who really experienced that group of people, I was changed by it. Sorry to see them make this move, but that creativity and life can’t disappear. I expect something new will rise, and I hope I get the chance to experience that too!
