[Video] SHOWstudio’s Fashion Fetish: ‘Fuck Me’

by Violet Blue on March 25, 2012

The above video is SHOWstudio’s Fashion Fetish – ‘Fuck Me’ with Ruth Hogben and Karlie Kloss. It’s the first short film in new series ‘Fashion Fetish,’ a series of fashion films, performances and multi-media pieces created entirely by women working in fashion, and it’s concurrent with the 2012 SHOWstudio Shop exhibition ‘Selling Sex‘. I’m not sure I like the video (it doesn’t seem to take any risks, for one) but it’s worth a look as the project is in itself quite interesting. I’m open to contrary opinions, so consider this up for discussion…

I’m not going to counter your opinion. It wasn’t impressing, and the mixture of flashing and that engine-revving sort of noise was borderline nauseating at times. Definitely nothing close to gets-my-blood-pumping sexy.

Two phrases that immediately spring to mind are “unremarkable” and “rather dull”. I wasn’t even particularly intrigued by the fashion aspect. They could have at least lived up to their title…
