Longtime pal and fellow sex educator Ducky Doolittle has launched a Kickstarter to help fund her self-published book, Elusive. Donations begin at one dollar. While I can’t say enough about what a great human and excellent educator Ducky is, this side of her is new to me, and is something I’m excited to learn about. Ducky explains,
Despite that I am famous for being unabashed about my history and sexuality, there are deep undercurrents that I have until now avoided sharing. This project will change that. It is your chance to own a little piece of me. Storytelling. Intimate notes. Love letters. Glorious filth.
It will be a self published, free form volume. Approximately 56 pages, 5×8. There will be a limited first addition (500 copies) with a letter press cover that I will assemble by hand.
To expand the experience, as I finish the project, I will do so with a live, week-long, 24/7 webcast from my very own workspace/bedroom. As an artist who spent four years with a 24/7 camera broadcasting from my home, I am well versed in the art. And here is a little chance for us to share that kind of experience again.
