I have been close to some individuals involved in producing a few of the original and well known “Reality TV” shows. Nothing was unscripted. The show was planned out in its entirety. From who wasn’t going to get along with who, to who was going to end up sleeping with who. I would extremely difficult to believe the bystanders in the Public Disgrace shoots aren’t there with total and complete fore knowledge of what’s about to happen. Legal or not in the country, if you just start screwing in a public business and you’re filming it, someone (probably the manager) will stop you pretty damn quick if it isn’t already arranged well in advance. I bet ALL participants sign waivers and are compensated somehow, if only a free meal.
