Eye Candy: Maria Ozawa, Hegre’s Newest Shoots

by Violet Blue on March 26, 2011

I love Hegre Art.

But – I have been very, VERY reluctant to post Hegre galleries since they changed their hosted gallery format – because I know the auto-play video will annoy the hell out of you. It makes me *insane*. I wrote them about it, politely pointing out that regular posts to readers with the same damn video – with music – that starts the second the page is loaded is likely to turn off repeat visitors. Plus it hogs all the page real estate at the top, I hate being forced to look at media, and they changed their galleries so now unless I tell you who the models are, no one will know. Not fair to the models. I got no reply. So just ogle the galleries for free, and mind the sound when you click on them.

I dropped Hegre out of Eye Candy rotation for all of these reasons. This post is an exception, with caveats about the annoying new changes, only because the photo shoots are so good – and many of you love Maria Ozawa. I’ve been poking around her fan site where she does a LiveJournal style blog, and she had a scary night or two after the earthquake (no power, but with friends), and is fine.

  • 25-year-old model En is just so beautiful (top of post image). That shoot is from March 21st, and she comes from Moscow, Russia.
  • The light and shadows in Mayuko’s shoot moved me to go ahead and do a Hegre post after all.
  • Valerie is from Mauritius, and getting a slippery massage in this set from March 23rd. I think this was her first Hegre shoot. Interestingly, she speaks English, French and German fluently.

Flashblock is totally your friend in this case.

I’ve had at least one porn program owner (who has been around *forever* and is respected in the industry) tell me that “we don’t sell still photos anymore, there’s no money in it. We’ve gone to just using them as the window dressing to sell our video.”

It sounds like Hegre may have reached a similar conclusion.

I do enjoy your eye candy postings, they are most informative, thank you! However, Hegre Art just doesn’t do much for me; although technically excellent and great models, there are far too many studio shoots – which, lacking in context, just don’t seem at all erotic and lacking in variety. Seems such a waste when working with models like the very lovely Ms Ozawa!
