* The big news is IAC’s Match.com Acquires OkCupid for $50 million. Then the bigger news is that OkCupid took down their legendary post that called Match.com a sham: Why You Should Never Pay for Online Dating (since it’s gone: here’s a .PDF of the removed post). Then: OKCupid: We Didn’t Censor Our Match.com-Bashing Blog Post. (prnewswire.com, news.ycombinator.com, observer.com)

* Yes – then answer is yes, it kind of does – even if for an HIV charity. Does This Faux Condom Dish Go Too Far? (SFoodie, via uncited source lifestyleasia.com)

* Hey – I added this new page to the top nav bar, just to get things in order around here. It’s a page of featured VB videos, a visual resume of sorts… :)

* Happy Chinese New Year! Babeland helps us celebrate by taking a whopping 40% off the (totally worth it) Rabbit Habit vibrator, plus free shipping. (babeland.com)

* Needed: Lesbian Couples Sex Survey – highly recommended, please share. (surveymonkey.com)

* I’m glad I didn’t miss this: Alexander DeVoe – Changing The Game In Black Porn (thewellversed.com)

* Share this, make it a resource: Lead With Love is a great 35-minute documentary to help parents when their kids come out. (leadwithlovefilm)

* Hip-hop music video filmed at the porn convention called “Rub Your Tits (If You Like Hip Hop)” – which to me is like saying “scratch your nuts if you like baseball.” (thewellversed.com)

* Oh – also: I’m spending a lot more time on my Facebook fan page. Come by and say hi before they take it away for no reason.

If that’s cous cous, then, yes it does go too far. Disgusting stuff.

Violet–

Please, PLEASE give a shout out to “SHAKEDOWN” a documentary about the LA Black-lesbian strip scene. This is going to be an awesome documentary and needs funds.
This is such a critical part of the queer scene, & the recognition it will get with this doc is groundbreaking. Let’s get it funded and OUT.

LOL — we didn’t censor our post, we just took it down. It’s true — censorship is a government function … but that’s still the most valuable blog post they ever wrote!
