Lady Porn Day

* Creepy and stalkery? Check. Will people use it to see if their crushes become single? Check. Did I first wish I’d had it years ago when I crushed on someone that was taken, and then instantly felt icky? Check. It’s the Facebook Breakup Notifier (breakupnotifier.com, via Hacker News)

* Antidote: an informative page on dealing with and identifying cyberstalking – even if it’s on a dating upsell website, it’s helpful. (onlinedatingsafetytips.com, via SFSI)

* This could be cool or lackluster, but I’ll still rush to see it: Sasha Grey to star in music video for Eminem’s ’Space Bound’ (Examiner.com)

* YAY! The woman behind successful online campaign No Make-Up Week has launched an exciting new campaign – starting now, Lady Porn Day (February 22) promises a week of updates from celebs and more about what kind of porns ladies like. I’ll be covering its awesomeness throughout the week. (rabbitwrite.com, Feb 21st-26th)

* With Libya oppressing citizens with internet blackouts, our loved-and-missed vb.ly is back in the news, and I’ll be covering more about it on ZDNet this week: Libya Begins Internet Shutdown — Will Bit.ly Be Affected? (businessinsider.com)

* This is bad – really bad, unfair and should not be legal: Feds Accidentally Seize 84,000 Innocent Domains, Link Them With Child Porn (pcworld.com)

* The Sexademic went to Cambridge and debated Shelly Lubben and Gail Dines – and won. We can see in Dines’ performance why the UK is so misinformed and outdated about pornography: read The Cambridge Porn Debate Story (sexademic.wordpress.com)

The link to the Sasha Grey/Eminem story set off two of my spy-ware/anti-virus software programs. I know you try to check on those things and sometimes the software is a bit too cautious. It still made me a bit nervous.
