This week I have a lot of good news. It’s a different way of blogging, approaching the world, starting our conversations. I mean, we often share things here that are just sexy, fun, joyful, inspiring, together we look at images that turn us on or make us go wow, life is really still mysterious and pretty.
But I’d be remiss if I wasn’t thinking that I have a disproportionate amount of amazing things to tell you about. We are used to the outcry, the inequalities of sex and life, used to being pissed off together about people being lame about sex or gender, or both. I take that on board. Though today I want to tell you about my new edition of Ultimate Guide to Cunnilingus (also: Kindle). Margaret Cho wrote an amazing contribution for it, and working with her was spectacular. We’ll work together again, for sure, though writing with her was one of those things I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
One of my big tasks this year (and some of last year) was taking my two oldest sex guidebooks — two of the most popular of all time — and updating them, reworking parts of them and making them ultra-modern. The Ultimate Guide to Fellatio 2nd Edition (Kindle) got a funny short story by Mary Roach added as well. Both books have multiple short stories by Alison Tyler so they’re like a total sexy-party between the pages.
People often ask me why the fellatio book is so much bigger than the cunnilingus book.
Size isn’t everything, you know.
