Erotica Vs. Street Art in London: Suelan Photography

Suelan Rolling With the Punches, Hackney

This would have been the show to see in London — I’m very irritated that I missed the chance to tell you about it in October, because photographer Suelan is really amazing. I found her on a random Flickr erotica hunt, the combination of eros, photos and street art drew me like a rare Earth magnet finds an expensive watch. Slam: I went straight to her website and saw that she has a whole Erotica gallery, in addition to her Erotica Vs. Street Art set, from the show. She’s one to watch — I also love her use of hottie genderqueer-type models, seen if you poke through her galleries. The above shot is model Bex Paul, writing by Alfa in Hackney. Below is model Hannah Marie Short, writing by Stik in Princelet Street; then the same model (Short), and writing by Roa in Hackney Road.
