Video: They Canceled The Exotic Erotic Ball

by Violet Blue on October 25, 2010

Friend BC just sent me this video of exactly what it was like when would-be revelers/ticketholders found out the Exotic Erotic Ball was canceled this year (it was canceled last Friday, one day before the event). It was also amusing to watch all the EE tickets hit Craigslist Bay Area when the news broke…

It was supposed to be in Richmond, right? Nobody goes to Richmond unless they have business at the port or the oil refinery.

Laughing… spit take… soda through nostrils….

And recovering to say how much this reminds me of when the Firefly Convention got canceled a couple of years ago… and they didn’t tell anyone.

Wow. Just… wow. I’ve seen some boneheaded business moves before, but this? This takes the cake. If they’re having problems selling enough tickets, what do they think is going to happen next year when nobody shows up? Seriously, what about people who flew in from out of town? Yikes.

That’s probably the end of that. And now I’m sad, because I never got to go. =(
