Today: Long Now Foundation – LongPlayer and Long Conversations in SF

If you’re in San Francisco today, the esteemed Long Now Foundation is having a huge event: the LongPlayer and Long Conversations starting at 3PM PST. I’m honored that I was asked to be a part of the Long Conversation — with legends in thought leadership from various futuristic fields. Unlike the last time I was invited to talk about future sex in front of many, Long Now has not only proudly put me (and thus the subjects I represent) front-facing in their announcements and PR — but they have paired me with two men I am absolutely honored and quite astonished to be speaking with. And I get to talk to them onstage!

I speak with Robin Sloan (Twitter media) at 4:38, and then EFF co-founder John Perry Barlow at 4:57. If you can’t make it in person, I think this is going to be the livestream (audio only) link. If I find a video livestream link, I’ll Tweet it from my phone.

Nervous? Yes. Excited to talk to these particular men about the future of human sexuality and media, privacy — and ask them questions? YesYesYes.
