It's got the same problems as the old Fetish Map by Gates (sex crimes equated to consensual adult "outsider" sex practices). And I, for one, get a lot of joy from vanilla sex! I'm tired of seeing it regarded as boring or lame. It's part of the buffet, and when it's hot, vanilla sex is mind-blowing. I've had some pretty mundane kinky sex in my life, boring, predictable, and it even felt mainstream. So I'm with you on this one. Erm... vanilla sex is just vanilla sex. An awful lot of people like it like that and there's nothing wrong with them. It would be helpful if the kinky folk would quit dissing the vanilla folk as either boring or repressed. Aren't we all supposed to be moving away from stereotypes?
