the Batman XXX parody: purrrfect

by Violet Blue on May 5, 2010

Great job Vivid — I can’t wait to see this. (There’s a slideshow on the Examiner.) The casting looks spot-on, and as for the rest, I’ll let Comics Alliance explain:

(…) this might be the first pornographic parody that actually has higher production values than the source material.

And secondly, the trailer is remarkably faithful to the source material–well, as faithful as you can be when Batgirl’s going to be shtupping the Riddler. From the dead ringer for Neill Hamilton’s Commissioner Gordon to the scene where “Bruce” and “Dick” are playing four simultaneous games of chess, a scene lifted directly from “The Purr-Fect Crime,” the first Catwoman episode, it actually gets it right. Heck, they even went so far as to preserve the show’s tactic of just painting over Cesar Romero’s moustache.

Incidentally, “Cesar Romero’s Moustache” is, as of right now, not yet a term for an astonishingly filthy sexual act. But this movie could change all that. (…more, comicsalliance.com, thanks RTE!)

VB note: here is what comes up via Goog for Cesar Romero’s Moustache on Urban Dictionary, seeing that Comics Alliance was too delicate to link through. There is no entry for it, however I did get an alt suggestion for “Milky Sanchez.”

The intro also contains a few Ambigiously Gay Duo nods

Anyone notice the Star Trek phaser the Joker is using? (which incidentally happened to play opposite Batman on ABC, and started and was canceled the same years Star Trek was)

But will there be Batman and Robin action, or have they shied away from it?

Maybe the sexual tension will just have to remain.

Milky Sanchez? Awesome. I noticed that the cast changed and, IMHO, for the better. Dale is really a pretty good actor when he’s given a chance to be stoic and Lexi is too cute as Batgirl… I emailed Axel personally to congratulate him on finishing this :)

It sure looks like an achievement — but do they have an analogue to Jill St. John cross-dressed as/impersonating Robin (you do remember the episode “Smack in the Middle”, yes)?

Looks very well cast, I can’t argue with any of their performer choices!
