“I want one.”

I mean a 3D printer, of course. Why else would Robert Downey Jr. be on a sex blog?

That picture makes me dizzy. Also: are we all waiting for the Black Widow spinoff or what?

Bacchus, I was waiting for someone to take the pervy bait. I can always rely on you to meet me there :D

R – I’m going to go see it again in MAX. I will be looking closely for that scene!

3D printing, also known as “rapid prototyping,” has been around for some time — when I did my MS in mechanical engineering back in the mid-90s, it was on software related to rapid prototyping. There have been a whole slew of different technologies for implementing it, but they all work on the same principle of building the object up out of many very thin layers.

That being said, the technology only keeps getting better over time; the one in the video is much spiffier than anything I worked with.

As for Iron Man 2: there was a brief scene in which Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson were walking up some stairs together, and the camera was behind them. I recall that scene with great fondness. ‘Nuff said.

Your post title was *my* favorite line in the movie, too. ;-)

Black Widow spinoff? I hope not, don’t you remember the Electra debacle?

I’m permanently skeptical about superhero movies, that way I can be pleasantly surprised.

There needs to be an Oscar category for fight choreography, just so we can give one to whoever did Scarlet Johansson’s fight scenes. Most awesomest ass-kicking scenes eva!!!
