I hate to open up a post by talking smack about other features, but if you were a sucker like me and clicked on the ‘The iPad is Made for Porn’ article on NewTeeVee (via Techmeme) and felt like you got tricked out of your click and wish you could take back the pageview, then read on. I’m delivering what they do not: actually directing you to the first, dedicated iPad porn site — and it’s a good one, with plenty of freebees and nice design. Few things make me as angry as the ‘looky porn!’ bait and switch. The summary of the piece is that they mention Gamelink and Digital Playground having some of their old stock optimized (Gamelink converted thousands of films), which if you go to their websites you can look for and buy for regular prices. Then the piece namedrops a bunch of mainstream companies who talk about how they want to make porn for the iPad. Want to.
There’s want, and then there’s have. Such as with the slick devs at Pink Visual. They’ve just launched PinkVisualPad.com and it’s lovely. Looks great on the iPad; I’m looking at it right now.
I recently interviewed Liam Collins, head of New Business Development and Special Projects at Pink Visual when I was working on my Apple apps scandal piece, the Of Apps and Men feature for MacLife. We exchanged a number of emails. Incredibly articulate and self-aware about the ubiquity of adult content and app development, he told me “Mobile porn exists, it is prolific and desired. I just got mine as well. I don’t like to admit that I’m a pervert, but it didn’t take me long to start looking for free porn on my ipad :p
I’d like to stress the word Free, because pinkvisual wants to make us pay. I came across this site: ipad.bangyoulater.com that has tons of videos, all optimized for the ipad, and it’s all free porn! How can you go wrong??
Now all i need is an effective way to clean my iPad ;)
Id also nominate iPadPorn.com to this list. i just got my ipad wifi in yesterday morning (Saturday ) from my trusty UPS delivery man. I quickly dialed up a few porn sites once i had charged it. One of the sites was the pink visual one described int this article, and the other was just a guess, ipadPorn.com. haha
im posting this because i could not find any videos on the pink visual ipad porn site as i wanted to see how nice it looked on the ipad’s display. however on ipadPorn.com i was able to play videos just fine and at QUITE high resolution. i think on pink visual one needs to sign up or pay first.
