I hope that today’s discovery of Moscow denizen Evgeny Goncharov and his graceful portfolio of glamor nudes indicates a taste of what awaits me in the porn mines for the year ahead. I wandered across his photostream on Flickr an hour ago, and have been enjoying a slow reverie making my way through his work with Brian Eno playing softly in the background, punctuated by the sound of rain outside on the San Francisco streets. Goncharov’s main site is TimeFreeze Photography where time doesn’t necessarily freeze, but does kinda stand still long enough for us to soak up the ambient eros in his careful, arousing nudes. Highly recommended, even if you just have a few minutes to click around. Russian erotic photographers just became a genre I’ll be looking out for.
