happy Halloween: sexy movies for staying in

…or for a spooky sexy Sunday. I’ll be offline for a while tomorrow, so try to behave yourselves. After my last column about putting the sex back into vamps, a number of people emailed me with sexy vampire movie and book suggestions — some are new and strange, some are classics, here is a sample:

* “”Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter,” a little-known film where Jesus is resurrected in Toronto to save the lesbian population from vampires that have decimated it.”
* “My submission is “Blood & Donuts”. Odd, intense, (sadly difficult to find). Psychic, bathtub, bi-, vampire sex. And donuts. Mmm..”
* “try J. R. Wards vampire books”
* “The Fearless Vampire Killers (or pardon me but your teeth are in my neck)”
* “HBO’s True Blood. It is everything that Twilight is not.”
* “”The Hunger” with Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon”
* “Lesbian Vampire Killers”

For more of my own handpicked recommendations for the top 10 (campy and/or hot) breast-bearing flicks, read my SF Chronicle article Bring on the lesbian vampires (sfgate.com). If it’s explicit porn you want — and trust me, nothing gets more ridiculous and unintentionally hilariously campy than ‘scary movie’ porn — take a look at Gamelink’s festive list 25 Must-Have Films: Vampire Porn. It includes sure-to-be classics such as “This Isn’t Twilight – a XXX Parody” “Buffy the Vampire Layer” “Count Spermula” “From Lust Till Dawn” and wow, “Ejacula #2″.

Ah, JC:VH is a gem. Rough around the edges, yes, and it looks like they had enough money for exactly one pass at the overdubbing machine (ADR?), but it’s a hell of a lot of fun.

And IIRC, Blood & Donuts is another Canadian flick. O Canada!

Blood and Donuts is great. I was going to recommend that one as well. I have it actually. And, the Hunger is one of my favorite Vamp movies ever. I’ll have to check out these other ones!

I totally thought I was the only person who had seen Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter (although I didn’t know it was filmed in Toronto).

Hooray vampires! Jesus is saving the lesbians of Ottawa, though, not Toronto….
