Roselyne, Nikky, Cikita A, Sofia A, Anna AJ are all physically beautiful young women, but they don't look like they are having fun. Since posing naked on the internet is all about creating a fantasy for the viewers (and making money, I guess) then why not go all the way and smile for the camera?

For what it's worth, any professional needs minimum requirements for them to do their best work. Participating in someone's project, no matter what it is, is utilizing the professional's time--not just time in the day, but years of study, practice or craft--and needs to be justified on some part by the people running the project. Your representation may do this regarding material concerns: fees, hotel rooms provided, residuals, whatever. But there's also a non-material aspect to it. I've appeared at conventions as a guest and been treated shoddily, so I've brought it up to them before considering appearing again. Sometimes they meet you at your level, and other times you don't participate in the con. It's not pride to expect respect for what you bring to the table.

I kind of noticed the italics bit in your post above - it just didn't SOUND like the Violet I'm used to reading. I hope it smooths out soon, and whoever's treating you this way figures out the error of their ways.

That being said, there's something about the way you described the sex and sexiness about your writing and about this blog that rung a chord with me. It's actually something like trying to bottle a good wind - I can see it and feel it when I read how you write; it's at the tips of my fingers when I try to recreate it in my own writing. It's kind of funny actually, maybe because I don't have that touch of female finesse you mentioned. :) In any event, I wanted to chime in and let you know that the light touch you mentioned is very well noticed, impossible to reproduce, and appreciated.

thank you. basically I've been invited to speak at a very prestigious conference -- as I have in the past, and am in the future by other competitors -- but now in planning I'm noticing that I'm not being treated equally. and others are noticing it, too. after being treated like a top level equal by entities such as Forbes and ETech, it's making me think long and hard why I'm doing it. having what I represent, and have to say (and the context), in these spaces means something -- to a lot of people. I think it's interesting that Forbes and the like see this, while others still haven't caught up.

People can be incredibly irritating. I don't understand why so many people are afraid of sex, given that it's a very biological, basic thing. It's like being afraid of breathing! Obviously, I don't know what happened here but I'm assuming that it had something to do with someone looking down on you.

Know this: you're one of the coolest people I know of online, and yes, they're stupid. We're the mutants of the future, and they haven't caught up yet.

If there's an international incident in the works, let me know. I'd be happy to join in :)
