It’s highly likely you already saw this because it made the blogrounds last week — but in case you missed it, body painted Air New Zealand staff starred in their “Bare Essentials of Safety video” created for their Domestic 737 services (seen @ Sex and Blogs + Laughing Squid). Also created but seemingly unnoticed was a blooper reel, which was teasingly issued as a “response” to Virgin’s 2007 (old but notorious — look for the cow porn flash) in-flight safety video. It’s all pretty tame stuff but gave me a big smile, while wishing our domestics had the same sense of (ahem) cheeky fun. Now, bloopers:

I saw these a little while ago and thought the whole campaign was clever and refreshing. Certainly, it is nice to see a company do something fun and different for a change and not the usual sanitized corporate drivel we usually get.
