One of the things I loved was that when he turned to me and I asked him for a quick interview, he was leaving. He looked at Eddie and I, and said yes, let’s do it. Then, on the way to where we stood for the interview he asked who were were — he didn’t ask that first and I like that. Then, another set of points for the Mayor: when I told him what GETV was and that we’d been doing it ourselves since 2005, he got excited about who we are and what we do. Nice. Also, as you can see, Newsom and I had fun with the interview. :D

I just realized I’d never heard you speak before, and had always imagined what you sound like.
Newsom is a pretty handsome model type of guy BUT he loves to talk! He definitely defies the whole movie star looks , dunderhead stereotype big time.
I think Mayor Gavin Newsom is a pretty cool guy. He gives off the cuff interviews to unknown reporters and he doesn’t afraid of anything.
