So, I don’t recall WHO did something … well, not similar, but at Midnight Mass on 4 July 2008, one of the perfomers pulled an American flag out of “her” arse… that was quite fun.

I love this video. She’s great at what she does.

#8 David’s right–she has a thumb-extension into which the hanky is stuffed. Notice how before she defrocks herself of her next item of clothing she turns her back to the audience.

Just about any time a magician hides something, you know that’s where the trick is. And the same goes for just about any time there’s a distraction because they want you to look elsewhere.

My guess is some kind of flesh-tone envelope she hides on the palm or on a finger; notice that she never keeps her hands still when she’s demonstrating that the cloth has “disappeared.”

That’s Ursula Martinez – a friend of mine – we occasionally work the same gigs, as we’re both cabaret/variety performers.

She is, of course, brilliant. There’s much more that she does than just that piece, although it’s by far her most famous, for obvious reasons!

If you ever see that she’s going to be in a show near you, I heartily recommend you check out her work.

That was fun… but a magician’s silk that is less than a foot square (like the one shown) can easily be hidden anywhere…likely between fingers. They are tiny. Not to be a spoil sport…
