Actually, as a climber – and knowing rather a lot of them – I can honestly say – yes, it’s true that ‘techy’ types are rather over-represented in the sport, even here in Britain – that _true_ climbing ‘porn’ involves expensive and shiney new pieces of aluminium alloy, nylon and or carbon-fibre in the name of protection or just pictures of the the crags or mountains in general (Honestly, you should hear how some people talk!) – but I do know some people who have at least thought about the possiblity of sex en-route (and some people have even admitted to it on one climbing forum!)

But then there’s the ‘back porn’ (ripped male climber with top off) that certain female climbing partners of mine have confessed to enjoying…

Random parting fact – a friend of mine was one of ‘stars’ of the very first ‘stone nudes’ calendar.

Take my word for it – hanging with all your weight suspended by those types of harnesses for any significant period of time gets *really* uncomfortable. This might be the kind of thing you’d want to do once, just for a “been there, done that” kind of experience, but like so many positions you see in conventional porn – I have to suspect it looks a lot better than it feels.

Aside from the setting (which is pretty cool) she looks pretty bored, which is amazing and sad (I don’t think *I’d* be looking bored having sex up there!) But I guess, as someone else said, it’s just your basic porn in a different setting.

They’re on a basic rappel setup, from how the rope looks to be hanging they’re belayed from below. All you’ve gotta do is put a little tension on the line below them and they’re locked in place.

The video, however, does look like the classic boring porn stars: Kinda dull and unerotic. If someone did it with the aesthetic of the Stone Nudes pictures, that could be really hot.

Heights aside – this looks like a really fun time. :) What a view and unique location.

I could forsee that regular harnesses would become uncomfortable over time. A swing that you could strap into for safety, or some wide, comfy loops of padded nylon would really do the trick.
