If you’re local, this is the do-not-miss this weekend: Carlos Batts and April Flores (also ogle her on Flickr) — THE Fatty Delicious — will be here in San Francisco causing trouble and having a couple of events. On Saturday (Feb 28th) from 6-8pm, they’ll both be at Good Vibrations on Valencia Street signing and hanging out to drink, dance (there’s a DJ) and answer questions about anything you want. It’s free! They really want you to buy their new film Voluptuous Biker Babes (fyi, purchases on Amazon look good to their distributor if you can’t pick up a copy locally). As you can see above, it’s a surreal, porn and drag queen soaked re-imagining of “Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!” and was shot on the location of Russ Meyer’s original film. Carlos and April are two of the coolest, most creative people I know. Go say hi.
And *next* weekend if you’re in Los Angeles you have to go to the midnight screening of Voluptuous Biker Babes on Friday March 6 at The Beverly Cinema for a mere $7 — including gift bags and seeing the film with the glorious gorgeous cast! (Facebook event page here.)

Film’s not bad, actually. The desert wrestling match is a classic scene. Probably also helps if you’re in love with April Flores, as I am.
