As pre-advertised on Laughing Squid, the bawdy San Francisco burlesque act Hubba Hubba Review did O, Canada! at the DNA Lounge last friday. “Join everyone’s favorite Canuckleheads, Lumbercamp Eddie and Sgt. Kingfish of the Yukon, as they take you on a Burlesque Romp through the Great White North!” The Blight just put up this large set of super-sexy photos of the event. Last time I was at the DNA I had my favorite coat stolen — bizarrely at the EFF fundraiser party and was sweetly comforted by John Law (friend of 13 years, omg) and Brad Templeton as I cried into my Guinness. So I’m actually on a very petulant, pouty, up-your-steampunk personal DNA boycott right now — but *damn* am I sad that I missed Boylesque:

Update: My dear, sweet friend John Adams just posted his dee-licious photo set from this evening as well — tassels are twirling high, oh my! I didn’t know Canada could be so fun. ;)
