Yes, you read that title correctly. Last Saturday at the regular erotic reading series Perverts Put Out, my dear friend Thomas Roche read a short(ish) story he’s been working on for a little while — I know this because a) we talk about our writing every week and b) one of the characters in it is loosely modeled on me. He asked if it was okay, don’t worry. The story is “a 10,000-word hollow-earth gonzo Lovecraftian science fiction horror story about a fanatic right-wing Alaskan mayor, two nutty environmental activists from California, a hippie commando, and Bigfoot.” It’s called “One Cold, Grey October in Tuscvari: How Sassy Pullman Lost the Hearts and Minds Of The Voters of Alaska, All Because of That Stupid Bigfoot” and you can now download and read it in this post on Thomas’ blog (various file formats, via 10 Zen Monkeys).
