I just got this in an email, “:: Wow. I’ve read a lot of your stuff, but until the Cupcake Camp podcast, I’d never seen you. Good lord, you’re delicious.”
On that note, I feel it is my duty to hide under my desk blushing madly tell you that this Sunday, December 7 is Cupcake Camp! Last Camp was a raging frosting topped success — too many people, not enough cupcakes, lots of happiness and smiles. My close/darling/sweet/adorable friend Ariel Waldman is to blame for making this event happen, and you can get all the details at the site, Cupcake Camp — note the awesome logo. Registration is closed for *officially* entering/bringing cupcakes, so you should just go and nibble the goodness. Ariel had to shut registration down early — according to Ariel the total registered for Sunday: “96 bakers are bringing 2,016 cupcakes”.
Last Camp I covered it as a baked goods reporter with Eddie for GETV; watch the episode for buttercream inspiration.

Learn something new every day. Never heard of Cupcake Camp! Too cool. Have to go out and buy some now. I’m too lazy to make my own! :0

oh i’m so happy the last guy in the video showed how to properly eat a cupcake by tearing off the bottom half and putting it on top, making it a perfect and messy cupcake sandwich. i wish i could go to this weeks camp, however it is a sfsi weekend.
