I don’t know how I missed this one: a long while back MSNBC reported Scientists look to sperm to power nanobots — and you know how that stuff can get *everywhere* if you’re not mindful. Talk about scientists having their hands full. After reading the essay I published by the local slutty sperm bank teller, I can actually think of a couple of extremely naughty girls probably putting their resumes together right now…

Like a vehicle running on gasoline, the sperm’s power production emits waste. Fortunately, its tail harbors a transport protein that acts like a tailpipe to kick out waste and keep the production cycle going. Talk about alternative energy sources. Discover Magazine recently updated the story, hailing it as one of the big 3 Ideas That Are Pushing the Edge of Science. And their picture is more well-hung than MSNBC’s. Just sayin’.
