Self-portrait, this set.

I’m working on a piece about the extremely gifted, fascinatingly storied local artist Suzanne Rachel Forbes, and today she came to my house and painted me for about three hours. It was such a fun and relaxed, truly creative, collaborative experience. I’ll post her interview and profile in a few days; in the meantime visit her site, follow her on Flickr or her adventures on Twitter. Buy her superb kinky original artwork! Better yet, do this: support this incredible artist and get the sexy dream portrait of your life by having her create an erotic portrait of you or your loved one — or someone you just want to show how sexy you think they are — with a custom gift portrait. The sky’s the limit with her imagination and yours (“Traditional portraiture for alternative lifestyles”). She’s the talk of this town, sex-positive, and I’ve never felt so comfortable feeling exposed around a woman in my life. Plus — holidays! What a great way to show someone how sexy you think they are. Or, both of you (the three of you?) together…

Photo of today’s session with my Eye-Fi basic, the Extreme is on my wishlist.

* The live photoblogging (thank you Eye-Fi) I did of her painting me in my living room this afternoon is here. The final product will be very surprising and not yet what it seems — a dark fantasy erotic portrait I’ve wanted to make reality for many years. We didn’t even have the props I needed to make my scenario happen. We improvised, and looking at her comic art talents, I can’t wait!
* The aftermath post Suzanne leaving my house: me and my camera, is here. Gothy sexy goodness. She has that effect on a girl.

Ooh I’m so glad to see that you worked with this artist. She was one of the artists that I recently wrote about briefly in a post I did on seven sexy artists in San Francisco and I’m thrilled to see that other people here are noticing and reporting on her work as well. You’re so right – what a great gift a painting of hers would be for yourself or someone else!
