Amendment 2 banned not just same sex marriage, but ALL domestic (gay and straight) partnerships. I am totally fed up with fundamentalists legally pushing their religious beliefs on the rest of us. It is moral and just for everyone in society to have the same legal rights-regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation. Prop 8 and Amendment 2 go completely against that. Grrrrrr! I know, I'm preaching to the choir. Rant over.
