fashion pr0n : Dogging by Steven Meisel

by Violet Blue on November 19, 2008

American fashion photog Miesel may be best known as the man who shot Madonna’s book “Sex” way back before the delightfully nasty concept of his latest shoot for Vogue Italia got its modern name — but his set for this December’s issue is all about “dogging” and fashion blogs all over the internets and back are calling it the most controversial fashion shoot yet. Maybe because it’s kinda hard to see the fashion. The pics are pseudo-retro with an infrared feel, conveying the nastiness associated with public, voyeuristic multipartner auto-inspired trysts; this handily makes up for the lack of explicit nudity and makes them plenty hot nonetheless. It’s wonderfully Ballard-Crash-flavored, for those of us who swing that way. The entire set (and I’ve scoured) is here at The Fashion Time Magazine.

Violet Blue

The London Times named Violet Blue "One of the 40 bloggers who really count" and Self Magazine named TinyNibbles one of the “Best Sex Resources for Women.” Blue is an autodidact and pundit on sex and technology, hacking and security, porn for women, privacy and bleeding-edge tech culture. She is a journalist for ZDNet, CBS News, CNET; she's an educator, speaker, crisis counselor, volunteer NGO trainer, and the author and editor of over 40 award-winning books.
