tasty flesh: live nude zombies xxx

by violet blue on October 19, 2008

What’s better than tough, hot naked girls battling zombies? Not much in my book, especially when my favorite holiday of the year is approaching — and to have this above pinup land in my inbox this morning (with a wonderful note from the artist’s sweetheart saying that she sent it because Miss October reminded her of me) gets me SO primed for Halloween. Miss October is from Tasty Flesh: Live Nude Zombies XXX, a kickass webcomic that was started back in 2006, went on hiatus, but screamed back into ongoing production within the past couple months. It starts — wonderfully — as a zombie outbreak in a strip club, and is infused with all the boobs and babes and a certain splatstick sense of humor that those of us who cut our teeth on Evil Dead 2, love. Or actually, can’t live without (many of you might remember that I’m a hardcore horror movie nerd). Plus, serialized webcomics are my favorite things to subscribe to, so I can get my comic fix when I need it.

Handily, I found that if you click on strips you get the entire webcomic in chronological order from top to bottom in pages; I also saw that the artist Martin Whitmore — when not making silly videos and making his sweetie giggle with glee — has a separate professional site where you can donate a little to help out the very talented artist, and you can buy schwag too. Like this must-have, totally fucking awesome Cthulhu Biohazard Sticker (Cephalopocalypse).
