But it really annoys me that most mainstream academics seem to think that lots of writers (or other figures of public life in bygone eras) didn't have a sex life. D'uh. Really, we're all human and we all have urges. Mind you, that doesn't just go for public figures of bygone days but also for disabled people. I don't get it, sex doesn't have to be in your face (or mind) all the time but it is only reality that people have sex. And think about it. *rolls eyes*. I'm German, that thought occured to me in school when I was struck by the de-sexualisation of alot of literature where the links were obvious to me. I love Kafka, especially the short stories.
