This concerns me, as many products sold in more developed countries contain hazardous chemicals, not to mention disposable pads are a huge waste. It seems to me that the general sanitary conditions should be improved; such as, access to clean water, handling of waste, and so on. It's like a band-aid for a gaping wound, but if it helps a few ladies, good luck to them.
