gadget lust

by Violet Blue on April 23, 2008

Just wiped drool off my keyboard… 20G, comes in black — not cheap, not even out yet, but the in-depth review of the Asus Eee 900 is here. Want. Lust. Desire. Tool fetish. This could make me a super blogger! Sorry, Air.

I want it because I’m weak

What about the OQO? The keyboard is probably too small, but boy is it sexy!

Sorry to double post but forgot to add that the EEE is around half the price. Another bonus, since I’m broke all the time.

I’ve been dead set on getting a MacBook to have something to try out OSX (you really can’t get a good feel for it in a store, you know?) But this is a serious contender. May just replace my desktop with an iMac instead of replacing my laptop with a MacBook.

I want!

I dunno…the Sony UX92 and G1 subnotes are still so much sexier.

Especially since the keyboards come in Hiragana.

But if you’re deadset on the Eee…

Dynamism.com has the 8gb for 499.

That little guy might get me away from the Cult of Jobs for a good while, especially if they made Linux as easy to use as it appeared in the review. Definitely will go black when it comes here, though.

Definitely go for it. It’s probably going to be $500-600. The only downside (comparing against the 4G EEE) is that the battery life is supposedly shorter due to the larger screen. I’m gonna sell my 4G when these come out next month.

Yup, I would definitely break it. Looks cool though. Cooler than a tablet? My next job might come with a tablet and they seemed pretty sweet.

I have the earlier version – and I have to say that it’s probably every bit of how good it looks. Kudos to ASUS for their superb work.

That *is* sexy.

You cannot have it for it would make too much sexy and hot in one place, thereby ending the world.
