fun with the new Ocean YouTube app

by Violet Blue on January 5, 2008

Usual disclaimer: Helio gave me an Ocean to play with. (YAY!) But a couple weeks back they rolled out a bad-ass YouTube app that has a nice UI, fast search and doesn’t have partial content (as far as I can tell). I hate YouTube in general, but I’m all excited to have a nice way to waste time in airports — and the best part:

You can film with your Ocean and upload straight to YouTube. I’ve been sick in bed all week (still am) but prior to that, I tried it in a dark bar with friends and it was pretty much instant, from film to upload. So sweet. I wish they’d work something like this out with blip.tv, make the camera better, and… anyway I’m loving it. Watch my grainy, camera-moving-too-fast, candlelit, one-off experiment with Jonathan, Tantek and Ariel after the jump.
