A lot of new sex books passed through the Blogger Bungalow in 2007 (besides mine, of which the list is obscenely long). I know it’s totally time to order stuff for the holidays, so if you and I were having coffee and you wanted to pick my brain for sexy readable gifts… Here’s the shortlist of ones I liked:

Explicit and extremely sexy photo books (and at least one oddity worth picking up):

* LA Bondage by Dave Naz (previews)
* Naked Ambition by Michael Grecco (previews)
* Pervy Girls: Erotic Fashion Photography by Christine Kessler
* The New Erotic Photography
* Richard Kern: Digital Kern
* Touch: Naked Girls Home Alone by Peter Gorman (image via)
* Do It Yourself Great erotic self-portraits by women.

Hot ebook:

* naked in Apartment 7 by Peter Gorman

Sex how-to:

* Healing Sex by Staci Haines (interview)
* Better Than I Ever Expected by Joan Price
* The Internet Escort’s Handbook by Amanda Brooks, via Fleshbot

Erotic fiction:

* H is for Hardcore by Alison Tyler
* Got a Minute?: Sixty Second Erotica edited by Alison Tyler
* Love at First Sting edited by Alison Tyler
* The Very Bloody Marys by M Christian (fun: gay vampires in San Francisco novel)
* Crossdressing edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, forward by Veronica Vera
* Hide and Seek edited by Alison Tyler and Rachel Kramer Bussel
* Where the Boys Are: Urban Gay Erotica edited by Richard Labonte
* Cat Scratch Fever by Sophie Mouette
* Sex With Strangers various authors
* Kink by Saskia Walker and Sasha White
* Best Lesbian Bondage Erotica edited by Tristan Taormino
* Best Gay Romance 2008 edited by Richard Labonte

Nonfiction:

* Naked on the Internet by Audacia Ray
* My Girlfriend Comes to the City and Beats Me Up by Stephen Elliott

Books of mine that came out this year:

* Erotic Role Play: A Guide for Couples (ebook) Read the review on About.com!
* Best Women’s Erotica 2008 (editor)
* The Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot
* The Adventurous Couple’s Guide to Strap-On Sex
* Lust: Erotic Fantasies for Women (editor)
* How to Kiss (ebook + audiobook + Kindle)
* Creatures of the Night (ebook + audiobook + Kindle)
* The Modern Safer Sex Guide (ebook + Kindle)
* Open Source Sex Ed: Pleasure Zone Basics (audiobook)

* Note: Kindle books are listed separately from ebooks. My ebooks are DRM-free, whereas Kindle books are not. So I don’t consider Kindle books true ebooks, as they are proprietary to the Kindle device and system. They are only Kindle books, nothing more, though a nice option for readers with Kindles.
